TRANSCRIPT: I don’t know the answer to that question. One could possibly pursue that because right at this time, the late 1920s, for the first time scientists have instruments to measure sound levels. At the time they were wondering if 1930 was louder than 1830 or 1890. They felt that it was but they didn’t have any basis of comparison because there was no way to take scientific measurements until around 1930. We have measurements from that time. The equipment probably isn’t the same, we probably make measurements in different ways, so someone would have to keep that all in mind when they make the comparison. But there is certainly the ability I think to do so and answer that question today.
